COURTNEY + JENNY

To bring Flower Girls Floral Design to life, Courtney and Jenny had the good luck and happy fortune to find like-minded flower experts in each other. Their long-time friendship (starting off as college roommates!) makes for a great business partnership and a base for the success of Flower Girls Floral Designs and your next flower masterpieces.

Flower Girls Floral Design’s philosophy for providing a successful flower experience is the planning that goes into it. Over-thinking is a good personality trait to have in this business right? When you present an idea you are thinking about, a color palette or a type of flower you are considering, they will get to work planning a design that will bring your vision to life.

Their experience with seasonal floral availabilities, what combinations work best and detailed style options help to make your flowers a statement for any event. Part of the success of any business is the relationships formed with local providers, vendors and partners – and Floral Girls Floral Design have built up quite a list of contacts. They extend that organization to the flowers for your event – providing the right amount of choices and plans based on your budget and dreams.

COURTNEY

A self-professed “nature nerd” with an agriculture background – Courtney Alexander knows how to bring the beauty of nature to your event. She loves finding native wild flowers, planting flowers from seeds and buds and growing her own garden to cultivate floral arrangements. When she’s not at a local ball field watching her boys Whit, Charlie and Holland play sports, Courtney is likely to be out searching for treasures on the rolling hillsides around Middle Tennessee. Courtney loves a good playlist, a cozy bonfire and a great pie recipe. On times when she is not dreaming up flower arrangements, she loves traveling with her husband (Jason) and sons. They’ve been known to spend time on the beautiful emerald coast of Florida and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. You may even find her playing in the snow-capped peaks of Colorado. But her favorite pastime may just be floating the creek on a hot summer day in a favorite local swimming hole.

JENNY

Jenny began her floral adventures years ago as a wedding coordinator, helping couples design and plan their most important day. Her organizational skills (timelines, lists and spreadsheets, oh my!) combined with a growing flower obsession paired well for a transition to floral design. With a business idea and a best friend willing to forage anywhere plants may grow, Jenny's creativity has found its purpose. Her calm manner and positive attitude bring balance to what can be a stressful and hectic time for couples and their families. Jenny's experience in the wedding and event industry has taught her that any problem can be solved and keeping a sense of humor makes for a good story down the road.

When she isn't turning a client's vision into reality, Jenny loves spending time outside with her husband Mike, sons Finn and Reese, and hound dog, Jolene. Gardening (flowers, of course!), floating the river, hiking, camping, days at the pool and evenings at the ballpark keep them busy and connected. Jenny's strong sense of family and celebration come through the detail and care in her work, creating beautiful moments.
